welp i'm old

we'll see how this post comes out. i have nothing too profound [in my opinion] to chat about today nor do i have any funny videos, articles, or topics to post about like i promised i'd do in my previous post.

so in my lack of intriguing topics, i will simply unwind my day [since you all are in interested in my life-ha!]

today was a thursday. i like thursday's. wednesdays are good [hump day.] but it's like, ugh you still have two more work days! thursdays are less intense. i mean, friday is like the ultimate day of the week because its quieter [usually] at work so thursdays allow you to still be focused at work yet be stoked for friday to come! does that make sense?

anywho, today i had the privilege to befriend a younger gal. we went to lunch and i had a tiny glimpse at what its like to be a teenager again.
i can say that i am glad that i was a teen when i was. this world is wack! okay so i sound really old now because i just used the word wack. forget it.
anyways, we chatted about school, summer, family, the stressfulness of shopping :), and some other random things.

so yes, after lunch, i said to myself: welp, i'm old.

onto something a little more interesting...

there is a How To for just about everything. google "how to..." something and see what comes up. there is seriously things from how to iron a shirt to how to get out of the friends zone [which i wish were easier]. depending on what you are wanting to know how to do.. the explanations are interesting. who writes these things anyways? who decides that this is how you should do something? granted some things have certain order and process but other things, obsurd things, who comes up with that?!

it's like when i was in IKEA a few years ago. there was a giant sign with an obviously enlarged hot dog on it [advertising for their in store cafe] in the bottom right hand corner of the enormous sign, read "this is not the actual size of the hot dogs available"

duh. but someone had to have asked that question of why the hot dog they bought was not the sign of the hot dog on the sign. so someone had to have asked these obsurd "how to" topics, otherwise there wouldnt be an answer on the eHow.com site.

do some how to googling. i dare you.
