hot hot hot

Chicago '11 was a success to say the least. i don't feel prepared to share the many stories that came from the weekend just quite yet though. i am awaiting on some pictures to be uploaded first.

chances are though, they won't be nearly as funny to you because you A) weren't there and B) you may not know my friends (if you do, i expect you to laugh lots)

the weather is a scorcher. i have leather seats in my car. i about melted when i went out for lunch. holy smokes it was hot. apparently we are supposed to get storms again tonight. i really hope it goes straight through lansing. i would really love a great storm since i missed it all when in Chi town this last weekend.

between the heat and the lack of sleep, i am about as exhausted as they come. this morning i woke up in a panic because it was so sticking bright in my room. the sun was just beaming in the windows. i could have sworn it was 9am. which would make me late for work. but nope, it was on 6:45am. and after waking up so abruptly there was really no point to go back to sleep for another 15 mins.

annnnd again, i feel like the word SLEEP is stamped on my forward. i can basically rule out doing anything creative today. i am completely out of it. last friday feels like two years ago. i walked into the office today, took one look at my desk and had a mini heart attack. my desk! it was bare! who threw away all my paperwork!?? ..... oh yea, i cleaned on friday. ha. totally forgot.

i want nothing more than to have a pool at this very second. ahh, that would be great.

well back to work.
