where can i find...

well this last weekend i dug down deep into the wanna-be-artist soul. i hide it because my attempts at being artistic are so rough that you would think i was in elementary school. but its fun to me and in some strange way it keeps my creative juices flowing for work.

that little creation was made on Friday night.

Saturday was a great day, besides the pouring rain. i had a golf outing and played with 2 guys from work and a youth director. it was fun! even when we got poured on. it reminded me of high school golf matches. priceless. [literally, we didnt pay to golf] surprisingly i won the longest drive for the women. i won 4 sleeves of pink golf balls and a generous gift card to a great coffee joint in lansing. not too shabby!

however, becuase of the pouring rain, my khaki pants turned about 3 shades of dark tan. needless to say i was a bit wet. so afterwards i drove all the way to my friend Kate's house which is in Spring Lake. there, i curled up in a blanket and talked with my friends. so great. i warmed my socks up on the fire... i love fall for those reasons. i love being cold but only for the reason that i can sit by a fire or curl up with a blanket and just BE.

the rest of my weekend was spent in smiles and giggles. which i can't complain about. church was great. the music was something else. i just love a great worship band.

well sorry to kind of cut this short but i am beyond tired, and lets be honest, i spend at least 9 hours a day devoted to the computer. so i need a rest from this....

promise i will write something more profound. i already have something cookin in the ol noggin....nothing original of course but whatevs!
