tonight i wandered over the community center [which i'd never been to] for some salsa dance lessons. yes this was a tad out of my comfort zone but it was still fun. afterall that is one of the goals for myself, to get out of my comfort zone and start trying new things.
i discovered that i may, MAY have two left feet. one of these times i will turn one in for a Right foot. it's been a while since ive done structured dancing ... haha! oh me. anyways, i shall continue to go to learn the steps and to learn to laugh at myself a little bit more. because, let's be honest, life just isnt as fun if you can't laugh at yourself :)
on the way home, i ran into construction. or should i say, someone almost ran into me BECAUSE of the construction. i was minding the speed limit [60] and minding the cones [lined along the right side of me] but this lady in a mini van blows right through the yield sign, forcing me to slam on my breaks! my entire purse was then emptied onto the passenger side floor... dah.....
this weekend i am headed off to northville to spend some quality and overdue time spent with my ladies C.Nann and Marshy Marsh. and of course Atlantic. the down fall to working a full time job is that i dont get to hang out with them as much but its the price i pay. we pick it all up when we are together...
anyways, thats the small update on my life... i need to break up the profound topics once and a while with some non-earth-shattering news.
