isnt she pretty! i found this little olive green treasure at Good Will tonight on my way home from work. i about had to fight off a lady for it. she was eyeing it mad hard. thankfully she passed on it. that was when i made my move and snatched the price tag off it and went to cashier to cough up my $14.
yea, she is chipped and beat up, but i love it. i even found this ancient train ticket to [or from] Chicago in the bottom of the drawer - which is kind of cool. i like finding odd things like that.
i love this end table but my only problem is that it doesnt match my bedroom, and there is no way i am repainting it. so it looks kind of off right now but i dont care. i did however find these awesome knobs at Hobby Lobby for 50% off. they are new but appear to be old because of the fake chipped paint look. i like it. very much so.
something else i did today is this little ditty. i really like how it turned out. i used some hot glue so its a little stringy but i am hoping i can fix it up tomorrow or something. anyways, all i did was wrapped yarn around cardboard letters. i got those for pretty cheap at Hobby Lobby as well. this is perfect for the random pieces of yarn that are left over from making scarfs. i dont really have a decent place to put it, so it sits in my kitchen window. i really want to glue some buttons on a couple of the letters but we'll see. i need to mull over it for a while.
any who. wanted to share my new loves.
la ta di da...i'm in love.
