I made sure to pull myself out of bed on time and head to the office ON TIME. i looked at my coat and remembered that i had forgotten to de-lint it. see i washed it a while ago and it got all fuzzy. dah. so i walked out my door and immediately regretted not grabbing it. i love and hate fall for this reason. fall is great because you can still be surprised by a warm day. it stinks because there are days when its only 27 degrees in the morning and your insides start to shake. it is then that it dawns on you that winter will come quicker than you think.
today was one of those days. brr.
as i sat in my freezing car i hoped that my car would miraculously warm up super fast. i was wrong. it warmed up about the same time i pulled into work.
time: 7:08am.
i was early. for once. i pulled into my regular spot. checked my phone. text message. my boss is running a bit behind. the one time i am early... haha! just my Monday luck ;)
we went to the anniversary party. met up with some people, had some coffee.... did the business thing. then on the way out to the car he saw me shiver. then says "i love this weather. makes you feel alive" and takes a deep breath.
how true is that?! there's nothing like taking a deep breath when its 27 degrees and realizing that you are right where you are supposed to be in life.

where ever you are in life right now, what ever job you have right now, or dont have right now, there is a reason for it all and the Lord will work out a path for you. and where ever you are right now, do it to the best of your ability. for what you do, is not for yourself, or others, but it is for the Lord.
and some days, on the chilly days, i realize just that.
