this last weekend i had the honor of supporting and witnessing an amazing couple get married. [shout out to jayme and matt bicknell! congrats!]. Along with being in the presence of love and all that gushy stuff, i was able to spend some QT with some of my greatest girl friends.

Now, I would like to describe to you my friends in these pictures. these girls are the glue in my life. i will use the top picture.
from left to right:
Jill - she is simply great. and she is just that. she is simple and selfless, yet has a huge heart that brings hope and laughter. we lived together in 'the house' my junior year at college. and without a doubt, any time she ate chips and salsa she would spill the salsa on my couch. each time it came out without a stain.
Me - I will skip over me...
Kate [marsh]- marsh is hilarious. she also has a huge heart and a passion for children. she has the unique quality of making any situation enjoyable and at times says some pretty awkward yet hilarious things. i love her to death and am so thankful she's become one of my besties. i have one too many memories with kate. one of my favorites though was the trip to chicago to see a past fling of mine. we didnt really plan the trip very well. apparently you cant just drive down to chicago and park your car. so we went to 'harlem' on a detour and stayed in a realyl shady motel. theres more but i will spare you the details.
Kate- well kate lives in china... so i dont get to see her very much anymore. but she is pretty awesome in the fact that i dont know anyone else like her. she is very determined and a fantastic host for any party. the times i remember best are when i lived with kate [also in 'the house']. she is roll-on-the-floor funny when she is tired. i may have shed a few laughter tears over this gal.
Kate- i lived with kate when i was a sophomore. poor girl saw me at lowest in life thus far [i know i havent lived that long but that was the lowest time for me] she LOVES to help people, which is probably why God set me up to be roommates with her because He knew I would need her. We had some great times just watching Disney movies in bed, getting ready and rushing off to classes [late of course] and eating cheeseburgers and french fries while watching Martha Stewart.
yes, i am aware there are 3 Kate's and 1 Katie [being me of course]. it was confusing at times when we all lived in 'the house'. the answering machine message was something else. "Hi youve reached Kate Kate Kate Katie Cory Emily Jill Rachel Amy Anna" it was long to say the least.
anyways, these are the ladies of my life. we were able to get ready for the wedding together and laugh and dance together. it was fantabulous. and it was much needed... for all of us.
la ta di da... listen to 1901 by Phoenix.
So Katie, I love this... and I can totally relate because... I feel like I have a group of friends, that love me, support me, make me laugh until tears... and are just my soul mates. I am so glad God has blessed you with wonderful friends!!! It is so important to have that in life.
